Guide for recolouring Pokemon Sprites

A Pokemon Recolour is usually a Pokemon Sprite, which's colours have been changed. (Eg. A blue Charmander) This guide below, written by Wishjirachi, (me) will explain how to recolour a Pokemon Sprite using the program Paint/MS Paint.

Guide to recolour Pokemon Sprites begins here:

Program Needed:
+ Paint/MS Paint

Other Stuff which is needed:
+ Pokemon Sprites
+ A Colour Palette -(You could create your own or use one included in this guide)

PROCEDURE

:
1. Firstly, you need to choose a Pokemon sprite which you want to recolour. In this guide, I will be choosing a Magnemite.

2. Now, you need a colour pallete. You could construct your own, or use one below...

3. Using the Magnifying glass tool, zoom into the area where your Pokemon sprite is. You should also move the palette over to where the Pokemon sprite is. Now, its time to start recolouring!

To recolour, start with the lightest colour of the palette, and using the fill bucket, colour in the lightest parts of your Pokemon sprite with that colour. Use the eyedropper tool to get the colours you need. Continue with darker and darker colours until the parts of Magnemite that you want recolour are finished. Use the darkest colour on the palette for the outline.

4. Zoom out, and admire your work!

Please don't steal the sprite above... If you do though, please give credit, and link back to Kasumi. <3
